Results of the 145th regular meeting of the Management Board of NTEF, held on 19 March 2026

On 19 March 2026, the Management Board of NTEF held its 145th regular meeting, at which it adopted the following decisions:

  1. Adopts the Activity Plan and Budget of NTEF for 2026.
  2. Approves for funding, under the Climate Investment Programme, Sub-programme “Energy Efficiency of Municipal Schools and Kindergartens”, 17 projects, according to their ranking in the evaluation process, as follows:
  • Project No. EEOUDG-42 of Valchedram Municipality – “Energy efficiency measures in Kindergarten ‘Shtastlivo detstvo’, Dolni Tsibar village” – up to EUR 254,748.79.
  • Project No. EEOUDG-36 of Sofia Municipality – Vazrazhdane District – “Implementation of energy efficiency measures in the building of Kindergarten No. 194 ‘Miluvka’, Sofia” – up to EUR 246,352.07.
  • Project No. EEOUDG-39 of Etropole Municipality – “Implementation of energy-saving measures in accordance with the energy efficiency audit of Kindergarten ‘Edelweiss’, Etropole” – up to EUR 171,159.83.
  • Project No. EEOUDG-45 of Devnya Municipality – “Smart Green Energy for Kindergarten ‘Nezabravka’, Detelina branch – Devnya Municipality” – up to EUR 26,704.87.
  • Project No. EEOUDG-33 of Devin Municipality – “Implementation of energy efficiency measures in Kindergarten ‘Radost’, Gyovren village, Devin Municipality” – up to EUR 455,429.56.
  • Project No. EEOUDG-44 of Sadovo Municipality – “Improving energy efficiency of Primary School ‘Vasil Levski’, Karadzhovo village, Sadovo Municipality” – up to EUR 277,895.85.
  • Project No. EEOUDG-46 of Sofia Municipality – Serdika District – “Implementation of energy efficiency measures in the building of 58th Primary School ‘Sergey Rumyantsev’, Sofia” – up to EUR 524,861.69.
  • Project No. EEOUDG-30 of Sofia Municipality – Krasno Selo District – “Implementation of energy efficiency measures in 34th Primary School ‘Stoyu Shishkov’, Sofia” – up to EUR 887,462.05.

  • Project No. EEOUDG-37 of Sofia Municipality – Slatina District – “Implementation of energy efficiency measures in 109th Primary School ‘Hristo Smirnenski’, Sofia” – up to EUR 354,044.39.
  • Project No. EEOUDG-43 of Sofia Municipality – Lozenets District – “Implementation of energy efficiency measures and renovation of the building stock of 21st Secondary School ‘Hristo Botev’, Sofia” – up to EUR 1,060,149.34.
  • Project No. EEOUDG-41 of Sofia Municipality – Triaditsa District – “Implementation of energy efficiency measures in 121st Secondary School ‘Georgi Izmirliev’, Sofia” – up to EUR 825,873.61.
  • Project No. EEOUDG-34 of Sofia Municipality – Poduyane District – “Improving energy efficiency of the building of 42nd Primary School ‘Hadji Dimitar’, Sofia” – up to EUR 1,245,537.09.
  • Project No. EEOUDG-35 of Stambolovo Municipality – “Implementation of energy efficiency measures in the building of Kindergarten ‘Zvezdichka’ and classrooms, Zhalti Bryag village” – up to EUR 124,041.28.
  • Project No. EEOUDG-40 of Rodopi Municipality – “Implementation of energy efficiency measures in the building of Primary School ‘Vasil Levski’, Brestnik village, Rodopi Municipality” – up to EUR 257,175.55.
  • Project No. EEOUDG-31 of Shumen Municipality – “Improving energy efficiency of Kindergarten ‘Zvanchе’, Shumen” – up to EUR 180,641.47.
  • Project No. EEOUDG-32 of Sofia Municipality – Kremikovtsi District – “Implementation of energy efficiency measures in 159th Primary School ‘Vasil Levski’, Chelopechene district” – up to EUR 147,168.25.

 

  1. Adopts the audited Annual Report for 2025 on the implementation of the Sub-programme “Energy Efficiency of Municipal Schools and Kindergartens” and assigns the Director of the Executive Bureau to submit it by 25 March 2026 to the Minister of Environment and Water, in his capacity as Seller under Art. 5.9 of the Agreement for the purchase and sale of Annual Emissions Allocations (AEAs) between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Federal Republic of Germany.
  2. Based on reports by the independent auditor Grant Thornton Ltd., approves the final reports of the Executive Bureau of NTEF for completed projects.
