As part of the “Climate Micro Projects” Program, funded under the bilateral agreement between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Malta for the transfer of annual allocated emission amounts, 37 projects by municipalities, schools, cultural centers, NGOs, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, and state institutions have been financed with less than 1 million euros. These projects have had a significant environmental and social impact.
