The three pilot municipalities have been identified for participation in the Municipal Energy Manager project.

In the small municipality category, this is the municipality of Sapareva Banya, in the medium category, the municipality of Svilengrad, and in the large category, the municipality of Ruse.

The first activities are related to familiarizing the participants with a prepared analytical report on the state of municipal energy management in Bulgaria and a study trip to Germany.
