On April 26, 2017, a conference was held within the framework of the Project for Climate Protection through Improved Energy Consumption Behavior in European Schools, implemented by the National Trust Ecofund in partnership with the Independent Institute for the Environment in Berlin, with the financial support of the German Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety.

The aim of the conference was to present the experience of the schools participating in the project and to discuss the future continuation of the project, as well as the future inclusion of new participants in it.

Participants in the conference were representatives of the municipalities participating in the project, teachers and students participating in the current project, municipalities in which NTEF has funded measures to improve energy efficiency in schools or is about to fund such measures, representatives of NGOs and schools that have implemented other climate change projects.
