ICP Protocol

The National Trust Fund has joined as an associated partner in the Investor Confidence Project (ICP) Europe project under the EC Horizon 2020 programme. The role of the NTEF was to pilot the protocols in two sites, which provide comprehensive and robust guidelines for project development at European level, allowing market actors to significantly unify the processes for assessing projects in terms of their energy performance.

This publication is the Protocol for Targeted Renovations in Public Buildings, one of the six protocols that comprise the ICP Europe protocol system, together with the Project Preparation Guide document, which collects all the necessary and accompanying information and best practices for the implementation of the system, which will also be supported by a package of tools, resources and software products facilitating the implementation of the system. References to the relevant parts of the Project Preparation Guide are made throughout the document and are marked.
